In The Beginning.....

In the beginning there was Akia. A happy little bundle of sweetness that would greet the forums each morning with virtual breakfast, coffee and a warm hello. It did not take long for Akia to be nicknamed There_Sunshine, after all that is what she became to many.
Now I am not one to be asked for specific dates and times, but I know that the thread is older than Karilea. I stumbled in to this sweet little place in the early part of September 2003.
Within a short time a family was formed in this regular Breakfast Thread. Akia and Droopy begot Lali (the 'bad' one), Petrah (the least 'bad' one) and Karilea (mis-understood). These girls soon earned their own nickname, The Triplets of Doom. You see the triplets were fond of causing chaos and havoc when in the Breakfast kitchen. The only person capable of out doing the triplets dark and witty humor was Auntie Rejeanne. Auntie Rej was also the only one capable of putting the girls in line.
Of course troublesome girls attract troublesome boys. Soon Grimm, Myrmex, Onus and Crucial were regularly jumping in to the chaos.
Grimm of course, as many of you will know, originated the breakfast licking fetish. He must have been infectious because it turned in to a wide spread epidemic withing a short period of time. The lick was used to express liking, love or desire for both avies and objects. A claiming of things that you coveted, if you will.
Myrmex would appear in flashes of fire, wreaking havoc as he went. He relished in launching food, avies and objects alike from his trusty launchers of all sizes and shapes. His favorite day being Wednesday *Hump day* of course!
Ahh to Onus we've come. The mysterious man in dark glasses and jacket. A talented buggy designer and musical artist as well. Petrah's constant companion in many a games. A really sweet and affable guy, just don't let his RL rough and tough persona scare ya. ;)
Crucial was there too, most of the time. Content to give and receive affections from all of the ladies. A patron of the arts and at one time, a big Karilea fan.
Then came Theona the sweetest lil' goth girl you ever did meet. Deep thoughts, strong intuitions and Artistic ta boot. A strong leader and contributor to TMOA. Last_WIsh was there too. Halo always on. Claiming innocence was her forte but we all knew her mischevious nature did lurk just underneath.
Innie the energy ball graced us as well. Sugary sweetness and generous heart.
Bamma alway quick with the kisses and love.
Dark_Viper did slither in often too. There's resident reptile was quite clumsy you see. His poor tail was always getting slammed in the door.
Net_Op, the newbie, found us before he even landed in world. For a long while he was Wish's constant companion.
Xavena and her coffin were ever present in those days. The coffin getting make overs in the finest of fabrics by Theona with love. A comfortable confine for the resident vampire.
Brac also came to regale us with tales of SEVEN children to raise . In the time that he's been with us we've watched his family grow. When will it end? God only knows.
MelissaD came in too. She is Brac's There companion. A sweet person to keep him grounded.
Water_Sign came in to instill a bit of wisdom on us now and then.
Doc_B, Karilea's snuffa-luffa-gus came by now and then. He is my significant other in There and RL.
The last that did enter of the original crew was Kally_Lunch. The baby. The one that kept Karilea bound to the thread when all others were leaving There far behind. Still passionately involved with There and the newbies.

So there you have the Beginning of a legacy. The first bunch of love that I found in the forums.
Each one still occupying a piece of my heart.
